Hi! My name is Sarah. I am a writer from New Jersey with a bachelors in English and masters in Publishing. I write short stories, nonfiction, and personal essays. I am currently working on the first draft of my first novel.

I have been a writer my entire life. In truth, I consider it to be my purpose. It is the form of expression that I rely on the most to process my emotions and show how I view the world around me. There is no other hobby that makes me feel the way I do when I write. It comes as no shock, then, that I am a big reader. I love all types of genres, and though I categorize myself as a mood reader, there is no genre that will remain untouched.

A handful of my favorite books include Remarque's "All Quiet on the Western Front", Plath's "The Bell Jar", and Forster's "Maurice." My writing has greatly been influenced by classic writers. I love character driven novels that leave readers thinking back to their own lives and applying the lessons they've learned.

I believe that putting a small piece of myself in each piece is what makes writing so special. Everything that I have ever written collectively makes who I am. Check out some of the things I've written! Thanks for being here.
